The St. Joseph Catholic Academy Volleyball program will be holding an evaluation day on Sunday, August 15th in the St. Joseph Madrigrano Gymnasium for the Middle School.
The St. Joseph Catholic Academy Upper Campus coaching staff will evaluate each athlete and form teams after the evaluation day. Every girl that is interested in participating will have a spot on a team.
Sunday, August 15th
· 6th Grade Girls: 2:30pm – 4pm
· 7th Grade Girls (New and Returning): 4:15pm – 5:45pm
· 8th Grade Girls (New and Returning): 6pm – 7:30pm
· 6th Grade – 8th Grade Boys (New and Returning): 7:30pm – 9pm
Coaches Wanted
I am in need of coaches for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams. If you are interested in coaching a Middle School volleyball team this fall please contact me; I am hoping to have 2-coaches per team.
Volleyball Uniform Fee
· Each athlete will purchase a uniform T-Shirt on Sunday, August 15th. Sizes will be available to try on.
· Spandex, athletic shorts and socks will also be available for purchase
Practices will begin the week of August 23rd. Each team will practice twice a week (either at St. Joseph Lower Campus or St. Joseph Upper Campus); practice times will vary between teams.
CYO League will begin after Labor Day; first match is tentatively set for Sunday, September 12th. Matches will be played on Sunday afternoons at St. Mark’s, St. Mary’s, Holy Rosary or St. Joe’s.
